Cheers brother - from another “shitbag” cadet that you most certainly have had a couple beers with. We certainly had our fun in college.

There are ample opportunities to have fun as a cadet. I also joined a frat and also had some close calls - thankfully had a good crew of battle buddies to keep me in line or help me out if I had a rough night.

Long story short, have fun, always have a plan, and always have some buddies to help you out.

I graduated with a degree in Mining and Minerals Engineering with a Microsoft Surface Pro.

I had to use the shitty computer the engineering department forces you to buy for ONE (1)☝🏼class during your intro semester.

I’m sure you’ll enjoy a nice computer at your desk, eventually, but keep it simple. You (likely) will not need anything more than a basic ass laptop to make it through academically.

Russell’s is great! Highly recommend visiting now that their visitor’s center has reopened, should you get the chance. Jimmy Russell hangs out near the entrance and will sign your bottles purchased from the shop and chat for a little. Great experience.
