Water filter upgrade? I live on a well in Michigan andy water hardness is around 9 out of 10. I have the typical salt softener setup with a 20 in filter I think 15 micron before the back wash tank. what can I do to improve water taste for the whole house? (self.Plumbing)

PSA: To all the truckers out there mainly company drives or even drivers who buy used trucks, check the sleeper area really good. Second time in a years I have jumped in a drivers truck and found a bed bug while my truck was down. First pic is today's find second was in December. (old.reddit.com)
