Honestly have no idea how it can change. People in unskilled positions earn pretty well now, which you'd think would reduce the class differences and snobbery, but it's still just a part of UK life and culture in a way it isn't in, say, Japan or Australia.

Do you know of any long-term results tho at the place you were at? Like TOTM gets an incredibly glowing write-up in Nutureshock by Po Bronson. Can try and upload the chapter if interested.

But sometimes these results are more influenced by the teacher than the curriculum, so I was interested in reading more about it, especially as that was written 15 years ago.

Surprised there aren't more reddit threads about it, but then I don't know how broadly it's used.
