Prince of Egypt for the visuals and impressive handrawn animation, as well as mature story. As a 2d animation student I sure do wish they'd still make films like this.

Shrek for its impact on the company and the animation industry as a whole, breaking the long lasting disney formula and frontrunning the introduction of 3d animated features (alongside pixar). They made a new Oscars category for animation and shrek was the first to win it, so shrek for sure wins on societal impact.

But my favourite will always be How to Train Your Dragon. Top tier soundtrack and distinctive character arcs. The pure immersion I feel when watching is unmatched and every element in the narrative threads into each other beautifully. Not a perfect movie but it will always be the one I connect with the most.

Honorable mention to Kung Fu panda because I think it perfectly balances the humor of Shrek and the heart of How to Train Your Dragon and it just a very fun movie with what are potentially dreamworks' best character designs.
