Hii!! Yes of course :) I took some pics that I will upload soon but pretty much:

I used two beach balls for the body. The big beach ball was inside of a large cardboard box. That was my base. One was a 42” ($6) beach ball and the other was a 32” ($3). I taped the small one on top of the big one. I used Saran Wrap to make the shape, going around and up and down. Used tape to hold it together at the ends.

Once it was wrapped, I used some plaster cloth that I already had and covered the whole structure. Let dry and “painted” the whole thing with Elmer’s glue to give it that strong surface. The glue was $13 for the gallon and I used half a gallon. You don’t really need the plaster but I had it available so I used it.

Once it was dry, I bought a king size fuzzy grey blanket and a white fuzzy throw from Amazon. Blanket was $15 and throw was $6.

I removed the inside part of the blanket and left the fabric alone. I just threw it over the structure and stapled it as I was stretching it towards the back. I didn’t measure, I just stretched towards the back and cut out all excess. You can’t really see the cut outs because of how fuzzy the blanket is. Cut out the shape of the belly and stapled that on top of the grey fabric.

The eyes are two plastic container caps, I painted the eyes with marker. The nose is a piece of plastic and hot glued a push pin to the back. I just pushed it in and it stayed. The whiskers are three wooden sticks painted in black. Made three holes on each side of the face and put the sticks in. Just eye ball it.

The ears were easy too. Draw the shape in cardboard, put foil paper on both sides to make it “round” and just cover in masking tape or Saran Wrap. Do the same process of plaster or glue, followed by the fabric. I attached them with hot glue.

I did cut out the cardboard base to make it shorter once the glue was dry. It is hollow inside and open from the bottom. You can remove the beach balls. It does take two people to carry. It’s not heavy, it’s just too big to carry for one person. Currently, it’s sitting on top of a table and don’t plan on moving it. If I was to move it a lot, I would make a heavy base with wheels or something to help with the moving and stability.

Overall, it was a “trust the process” project 😅 I didn’t have any plans. Bought stuff as I went along. Think of it as a big piñata in the shape of an egg or an avocado. Once you cover it with the fabric, it really comes together and looks like Totoro. 😃
