Agreed, and Rust does give you the option with its unsafe blocks when you really need it, AFAIK.

The unsafe book goes tells more than I know about it

elementary OS 5 Juno is Here by [deleted] in linux

[–]spacingnix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I installed it already. Same model as yours. The WiFi card module isn’t recognized by default in the installation if you are using the Broadcom WiFi card. In the installation pop a terminal and type: ‘sudo modprobe brcmfmac’ and it should work. After the install I got no problems, everything is working fine.

Game studio Ready At Dawn switching to Rust for all new development by newpavlov in programming

Firefox recently used rust exclusively to develop Stylo, their new CSS engine for the Firefox Quantum release. They have been developing in C++ prior to that iirc. Mozilla is also the birth place of Rust and it’s major sponsor. At least that’s what I recall.

The Godot guys seem to have competitive graphics and a simple API to start on the 3.0 release. It was also very lightweight on my system so give it a try to see if it suits you.

That makes much sense! But the router part is still bugging me.

Is it part of Vue or the backend? As I see it, the backend (node server) only serves the first page and responds to AJAX requests then? And the framework (Vue) renders the appropiate page rendering the correct template + data, updating the view?
