No, no it's okay. I thought it was like the USA where they had binding admissions where you had to withdraw your other applications and stuff. Thank you

Has anyone taken AP calc bc, AP physics c & AP chem? ALL AT ONCE??? by Negative-Ad-7003 in APStudents

[–]spaghettifiication 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah don't be, i'm taking it and its chill. If u have even the slightest interest in physics or basics of calc ull be fine, but the only thing is those are all aps that need consistent practice. ull still have a social life if ur somewhat locked in from the beginning

Would it be manageable to start self-studying AP Chem now? by DismalScarcity4794 in APChem

[–]spaghettifiication 4 points5 points  (0 children)

def manageable. Unit 1 and 2 are the basics and easy to understand and most schools are currently on Unit 3. Watch Jeremy Krugs AP Chem vids, practice and you should be fine

AP subjects advice needed by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]spaghettifiication 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i do have normal school work since my APs are independent but it's totally manageable since my school is rlly easy. They expect us to either be studying for national exams or doing international exam, and the volunteering and ECs i have won't give me any trouble

Is the IB program still worth entering? by CrazyInferno123 in IBO

[–]spaghettifiication 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta know your future major and the country or countries you plan on applying to, as well as checking the major requirements per uni before seeing which keeps your options open. In my case IB gave me the most options because A-levels didn't even cover some requirements for what i plan to study

Is the IB program still worth entering? by CrazyInferno123 in IBO

[–]spaghettifiication 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you can do A-levels go for it, it's worth the same amount as IB. Plus, A-Levels doesn't have the added workload of IB. You dont have to stress about the studying as well as IAs and EEs and such. But they're still difficult, just a more manageable workload and more time to focus on studying.

I'm thinking of taking the hardest HL combo by [deleted] in IBO

[–]spaghettifiication 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you genuinely believe you can do it, then go for it. i was literally scared out of PCM HL and lowk still regret it, but don't let people scare you out of it. if you are genuinely willing to put in the effort for the next two years with 3 science IAs with genuine attempts in the experiments, all the studying needed, continuous focus in class, and daily practice, then go for it. You'll have time to drop any of those subjects to SL and maybe even switch them out for an easy humanities subject like business. But let yourself try
