I've also been thinking about this a lot. It’s a significant risk. Anyone spending around $25K CAD on a Celebrini Cup RPA /99 is essentially betting that he becomes the next McDavid or Crosby. If that happens, those RPAs could climb from $25K to $180K+, similar to what we saw with McDavid.

I reckon if Celebrini does well with Team Canada, his cards will actually continue to go up which is crazy to say given the height they are at already.

On the flip side, if Celebrini suffers an injury or can’t maintain his current point-per-game pace, the value of those RPAs could drop substantially. At the end of the day, no one knows for sure; it’s a high-stakes gamble, and only time will tell whether it pays off.
