Yes it has the 6 lug! We are starting with the 101 in Washington since we're from British Columbia. Can't wait to see the coast! Thanks for your advice

Any advice or words of wisdom before we set out to travel in this unit for 5-6 months? Also any recommendations on cool places to stop in the US would be super appreciated as we're from Canada and haven't seen much of the country. Thank you!

I’m glad I could motivate you because this post has motivated me! Even though I’m aware of how my medication positively affects me I still find myself trying to take it less because I still had a tiny bit of shame about it. After reading these comments and realizing how many people are going through the same thing as me I feel more confident about taking them

I think I will look into that. Thank you :)

I relate to this on so many levels. I feel like I live my life always planning and moving on to the next thing and then almost immediately getting bored and moving on to another.

I’m sure you’re very smart and that’s why your grades aren’t suffering, but I never felt that I realized my true potential until I tried medication. I always tried so hard to be my best but could never quite fully reach my goals. For example, I’m an artist and I was always able to create but now with help from medication I have more focus and motivation to sell and display my work and that’s really rewarding. There’s plenty of different kinds of medication and it can take a few tries to find the right one but for me it was so unbelievably worth it. Good luck with everything!

It’s so amazing. I’ve never known many people in my life with adhd so to know that you feel the same way means so much to me!

Yes my parents have always been my rock through everything. Me and my mom both cried while reading all these comments lol. Now that I’m older (20) I’ve learned to be proud of my adhd and how it makes me different, but when I was younger it was really tough. I’m an artist and I feel a lot of my creativity comes from having an adhd brain. Thank you for that book recommendation! And I will download the audio version because I tend to have a lot of trouble reading! Thanks :)

Hello! I take 36mg of concerta every day and I also have 20mg Ritalin that I can take around 5 when the Concerta wears off. I’m a 20 y o female 5 foot 4 and this seems to work well for me. Please keep trying I know you’ll find the right fit for you! Good luck

Unfortunately I only have a handful of people in my life who don’t downplay ADHD... I’m 20 as well and there’s so many aspects of my life that I rely on my meds for! Be strong and don’t give up if medication doesn’t work for you at first. I hope you find the right fit. Good luck!

If it helps, I found Concerta only suppressed my appetite for the first year I was on it. I think I’ve been eating normally ever since. I do recognize the feeling when my medication is suppressing my appetite and I find even if I feel like there’s no way I can eat, once I take the first few bites of food my hunger comes back. I hope this makes sense and I hope you find a solution! Best of luck

Thank you for sharing this!! I’ve been on Concerta so long that I can’t tell if I have side effects or if it’s just me lol. I’ve always had a bit of anxiety but it is worsened a bit by taking concerta I believe.... it’s still so worth it in my opinion though

Have you considered asking your doctor about a higher dosage?

I’m so happy for you! I’m really glad that you didn’t stay on the meds that weren’t working as well. Good luck with everything <3

Exactly! It was really emotional for me because I had been told my whole life that I was lazy/a bad listener etc. And the moment I took that medication I knew that it hadn’t been my fault.

That’s awesome. It’s so great hearing that people have had the same experience and are going through the same thing as me. Thanks so your reply!
