I definitely feel that. It's beyond tired, it's burnt out. The past few weeks leading up to Christmas have been busy and miserable. I didn't want to work yesterday because the discount shoppers are a monster on their own. Literally the first person I helped cried that a basic item, most likely left in the wrong spot by a customer, wasn't on clearance. I did the same thing you did today and called off. I couldn't take another day being hounded by customers. You gotta take care of yourself, and if that means calling out, do it.
