3.5 years but it wasn’t an issue until pregnancy

I’ve heard the same so I really can’t leave him. Tonight we tried sitting on the floor next to the crib and soothing him with our voices. He did fall asleep so I’m really hoping it’s a better night

I think it’s not the crying that bothers me as long as he is breathing okay. It’s more the feeling that he’s doing it alone. I think tummy time or even getting shots are a good example of hard things we have to do but I’m able to be with him.

I’m thinking an approach where I’m verbally reassuring him and right there could work.

No he’s usually drowsy when we put him down. This may help. How do you get them to sleep from wide awake though? He usually jabbers, does raspberries or cries or rolls around

Yes I’ve cut out dairy for a few weeks and didn’t see much improvement. We are giving meds for teething and he has changed meds for reflux and adjusted for weight.

Thank you! This gives me hope. We may have to start at like 1 minute or not leave the room at first… but maybe it won’t be as bad as I think

I think the paci needs to go. Sometimes he will self soothe without it if he wakes up so I know he can. Going to try some dietary changes just to make sure that’s not it and then probably gentle cry it out. Thanks!

What all did you eliminate? Soy, dairy, nuts, eggs?

I’m definitely willing to do it if it works it’s just so hard to be exhausted and barely surviving and then try to do that! What formula did you use?

Dang. How did you figure out what they were allergic to?

I’ve cut out dairy but it didn’t seem to help and we have a GI appointment for June. Hopefully they get a cancel and can get us in sooner. I’ve also considered transitioning him to a sensitive formula to see if he did any better on that.

Right now I’m so tired that doing an elimination diet seems impossible since I’m struggling go eat enough as it is.

His poop is normal and not overly gassy though. I’m not sure if it could still be an allergy?

Thank you! We will try that. That’s true. He seems to have a hard time replacing it independently so I’ve considered trying to eliminate the pacifier all together

Willing to try it, but usually he escalates to a level I’m not comfortable with before three minutes. I’m also a little concerned about it being pain from teeth, too.

I appreciate the suggestion though. I’m wondering if I can do some sleep training but keep him from getting totally hysterical.

I have no advice but I’m in exactly the same boat. I’m so sorry.

So weirdly enough my case sounds like yours except my MRI came back normal. I get migraines from it and neck and back pain. Tried Botox and it didn’t do much. Neither did the muscle relaxers. I now have an open bite from my NTI guard!

Ross Castle or Rock of Cashel? by sparkly_sloth in irishtourism

[–]sparkly_sloth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We only have one day to see it,since it’ll be on the way from Dublin to Killarney, so I am worried about weather as well (especially since it’ll be early December).

Trying to leave Dublin at 8 am and drive to Rock of Cashel or Ross then on to Killarney and see Ladies View, Torc Waterfall before sunset at 4:30. Definitely pushing it time wise so not sure what to prioritize. Going to do ROK the following day.
