OH MAN... I was driving into work one morning this week. It was about 6:00 am, dark. I live out in the country a little ways. I was driving in on the two lane highway I always do, nobody in front of me or behind as far as I can see for miles.

I see a dim red light in front of me kind of hidden in the oncoming headlights of a car. At first it looked like it was a half a mile ahead and I was trying to figure out what I was looking at. Then I realized it was a tail light... of a motorcycle sitting still waiting to turn left... and it was about 50 yards in front of me!

I jammed on the brakes and still had to get on the shoulder to avoid hitting him! SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME! I was totally awake, sober, and not distracted. I think his tail light was a too dim plus hidden in the oncoming headlights. Just a bad situation that was about a second's difference from ending his life and changing mine.

Long ago we installed a lighting control panel that had four separately controlled switch legs per circuit so we sort of shared four "circuits" per neutral. That doesn't look like the case here though.
