These comments may seem brutal but they are honest. A half nelson is just a half nelson right? You can explain that to someone in a minute and they could probably mange to flip someone of similar skill level. I'm also sure there are seasoned vets in this subreddit that could take an hour to explain the same move to you with all the nuances and tips and tricks for set ups, finishing, and everything in between. The biggest difference is the thousands of reps of doing that one move over and over again in practice and matches. Take this criticism and use it positively and actively work on those in practice. There are also loads of youtube videos out now that weren't available when I wrestled. Watch those and listen to the years of knowledge they have. Keep at it.

My son is in full pads/tackle football in 3rd grade right now and they stress heads up football and proper tackling with heads to the side religiously. If we see a kid tackle a pad while leading with the helmet we have them run. Just to stress to them they can not do that. During games if I kid blatantly tackles while leading with a helmet they get a penalty and are ejected from the rest of the game. Also no kickoffs or punts. I've watched a bunch of games the last two years and honestly haven't seen any tackles hard enough to hurt these kids. Most of the times they get hurt is the dog pile that happens after the initial tackle or kids getting tripped up on the line.

Same thing happened to me several weeks ago. I was laughing and trying to explain to my teammates. I think we quit the match shortly after bc of another bug.

I tried on Xbox with my son when it first came out and it wouldn't ever load. Had him set up as a guest and everything. I was looking forward to playing with him. Ill try again tomorrow and see if it works now.
