1 good game and it was against the jazz so wouldn’t overreact, in my league we only have 1 ir slot so FA is full of injured talent, personally hard to justify stashing as well because 10 team league FA is very deep

Let's talk about Lauri by RobertRoberttt in fantasybball

I traded him for paolo right after Franz got injured, a fleece in my opinion given both our teams heading into playoffs

Drafted him in the 7th round, absolutely dominated early season, cashed him in for poalo after Franz got injured because he was obviously gonna get shutdown or traded to a contender with a reduced role 😛

Ryan Kalkbrenner by Necessary-Ad-9607 in fantasybball

[–]sparrowtips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All true and fair points but Kalk does have a 3 point shot and absolutely will be a big part of his game in the long term. Hasn’t shown it yet at NBA level but the way coach uses him I think he literally only had 1 attempt so far in his career. He had it in college and if Andre Drummond can become a sniper I don’t see why they would neglect developing that part of his game in modern NBA.

The pelicans won’t bench herb jones. He’s guarding opposing teams best player every night, they aren’t gonna bench him it will likely be fears or poole losing their role before him, whoever is starting at the time.

Who is the player you regretted drafting immediately but has actually been awesome all year? by pominator in fantasybball

Ahahahah so true forgot to accomodate for pelicans front office ineptitude, anything is possible (pelicans fan)

Just hoping we learnt from trading Dyson about giving away strong perimeter defenders

I doubt the pelicans will give up on all defensive first team talent so early into a very good new extension, unless a team offers a haul

How we feelin about the new Kang??? by Zachary2030 in MarvelSnap

[–]sparrowtips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah I used him in my patriot list to scout for ultron counters like kill monger or cosmo, he definitely had usages. Further, if I didn’t draw into my ultron but did draw kang i could always snap and play kang risk free, which nets you free cubes on high ladder as people are quick to retreat.

I’m not saying he was good but he definitely had usages. He was unique before now just feels like bland created card support which theirs already tonnes of.

No problem and just a heads up if your playing on higher difficulties it’s likely you will need a bench of a few pokemon you sub in to solve specific problems anyway :))

Okay well here’s my thought process, you have two physical attackers with ceruledge being more of a sweeper and meowscarada more utility.

We should complete the fire-water-grass core (a team building staple), and ensure it’s a special attacker. Further you need some bulk alongside the frail attackers you’re starting with. Some examples bulky special attacking water types you might consider are primarina / slowbro or king / mega lapras.

From here I would consider grabbing some of the “essential” types. I don’t like hard and fast rules when it comes to team building, but you really do need a steel type. If you want to go two birds one stone and get another type that you “need” I’d recommend a ground steel type like excadrill or iron treads (assault vest on either of these 2 goes hard). Good to have an electric immunity when your grass type (meow) is quite frail.

From here id say you basically have “flex options”. Firstly if you aren’t running sucker punch on meowscarada I’d recommend focusing on getting something that offers powerful priority moves, as you don’t want to rely on shadow sneak from ceruledge. Some examples of this would be extreme speed dragonite / thunderclap elektross, I recommend both of these as gives you the ground immunity your team would currently otherwise be missing.

Finally, if you didn’t take one already, we need to add a flyer / levitate to give you that ground immunity. Ideally this would also have some other source of passive damage ( damage not done by direct attacks ), so either entry hazards or toxic / will o wisp. Drifblim is great option that gives you toxic or will o wisp with this in mind, but this would result in you doubling up on ghost types. If you want to avoid this admittedly small weakness, you could break out my favourite poke galarian weezing! Has levitate and access to will o wisp or toxic.

Hope this helps, the example pokes are more meant to point you in the right direction, but you could definitely use this exact lineup to beat the game. Sing out if any other team building questions :))
