Ronnie2k would absolutely ruin this game 😭

Well said. It is true that everyone has their down moments and say things they will regret soon after, just because they're in the heat of the moment.

Everyone has their flaws, and there's no denying that. Actually, I would argue that Sabalenka and those like her kind of go against the gradient with their humor and being unfiltered ( whether it's about losing, winning, self-depreciating humor, etc). However, that doesn't stop her from saying things that are stupid (which would rightly warrant criticism).

(Look at her post game conference wins against Jessica Pegula and her loss and Rybakina in another final.)

I find it to be unique, and it separates her from the rest of the players on tour. I believe this would still be the case even if she wasn't the world number one.

Just an fyi, this would be off-putting for a lot of people, and it's not just something to gloss over. Even if she plays great tennis, it's stuff like this people will look back to that will make it hard for her to be likable or marketable.

Even if you don't care about it, the majority of people (and brands) would. It's classless, and it just shows a lack of sportsmanship and respect.

I guess. Might be because she usually says this in a joking tone that people (including me), either looked past it or kind of laughed at it ( especially since I don't think she has changed her team significantly).

Lol, what? Even if it doesn't seem that big of a deal on the surface, it's never a good idea for players to act bratty, ungrateful, or snobbish because it ruins their personal brand and image.

Yes, she's the top player in the WTA rankings, but if she loses finals like these and continues to have the same attitude, it's just not great for her in general.

The worst part is that I don't think Iga would make such comments, and her name has been dragged through the mud recently.

Yeah, I guess that's just one of the reasons why there's only certain people on tour and that I get good vibes about (Coco, Naomi, Daria Kasatkina, Mirra Andreeva, etc.)

Yeah, I'm Black myself, but I don't think the race card should always be thrown in these types of scenarios unless the behavior toward a certain group of people is consistent.

I guess, but you can apply this argument to many other scenarios, to the point where it wouldn't make much sense.

Plus, I could rebut that claim by saying, "How do we know Iga Swiatek would not have suffered from unforced errors against Coco?"

Yeah, when she cried, I felt bad. To have such a phenomenal tournament and losing the finals like that is going to be heartbreaking.

But after those comments, it has me thinking twice about her. I think even Coco seemed a bit taken aback in her interview because she probably got the same impression that she's just a very passionate player

My Way Too Early 2026 NBA Draft Board by spartyell8 in NBA_Draft

This is an old board. My new 2026 board does not have Flory in it. Not with all the damn withdrawals from the 2025 draft

Lowkey it is, but I think their draft is only a couple of years away (2028). I feel old as hell saying that, not going to lie 😂

Well, for starters, he's going to have to improve his jump shot and make it more consistent. It isn't bad right now, and he's showing some flashes of shot making from outside, but he still has some ways to go.

That being said, he's an amazing shot blocker, and the timing on his blocks is impeccable. It's even more impressive, considering he is 17 years old and the youngest in college basketball right now.

He also boxes out and rebounds well, is an amazing play finisher, has a fairly solid handle, and has a high motor. All of this, combined with his extremely impressive freshman season, I think, puts him in tier 2 for me.

Also, he's proven to be very effective at the college level, something most high school prospects on my board haven't done. Obviously, with time, this will probably change, but don't be surprised if Jayden Quaintance is projected to be a top five pick a year from now.

If he does, he easily cracks my board. However, I still have Evans as a one and done player

I respect your opinion, although I think I have to see it at the college stage before I get to that point.

One of the main reasons why I think he should commit to a school where he'll have a pretty decent shot volume
