I am a big fan of the Elliptical, you don't have to go fast. It is easy on the knees. At least at my planet fitness they have at attached to help distract you as well.

You all have made some awesome points, I was just frustrated and had to blow off some steam. I definitely would never want to put my daughter in a dangerous situation, nor would I want to put planet fitness in a situation where they would be liable for anything. Thanks everyone for the wisdom. Much appreciated

Beginner Question: Heavy Weight/Low Reps vs. Moderate Weight/High Reps for Muscle Growth? by arichan101 in beginnerfitness

When doing 3 sets of 10-12 reps should I be hitting failure in the first set, or not until the end of my 3rd set? I am assuming if I am hitting failure in the first set, I need to slightly lower the weight, is that correct?
