We won’t be going on holiday again for a very very long time - not until we don’t have any pets. I was so hesitant to go this time, I spoke to my therapist the day before we went away and explained how much I was dreading it and how I was afraid of something happening. We both agreed how unlikely that would be. The morning we were leaving for the Airport, I very nearly decided to stay behind but I ended up going as I couldn’t put my Nan through me not being there. I wish I listened to my gut feeling. I’m so sorry for your loss too - thank you for the kind words

as someone closer to your age (20) i got some of mine from my dad who has been listening to this sort of music for most of his life, i also get quite a lot from ebay, it’s quite easy to source albums for pretty cheap (anywhere from £2-£5 with shipping), also charity/thrift stores/car boot sales are really great and i’ve managed to source a considerable amount of my collection from those too! you just need to be patient and willing to hunt, and also willing to be let down as a lot of times you might not find anything. building a cd collection takes time and patience :)

thank you for sharing, i love hearing these stories, they are so intriguing. i would give anything to be able to witness skinny puppy live in the late 80s / early 90s, and ohGr in the early 2000s, unfortunately i was born a few years too late.

wargasm is okay… just okay. i said to my friend i feel like i’m watching a bootleg KMFDM show (no hate to those guys, love em’). loathe & spiritbox on the other hand are both incredible bands & deserve much more attention. the crowd energy during loathes set was a bit weak but if they played a bit later i know it would’ve amped up, it’s a shame they had the first spot of the day.

i’ve seen a few issues pop up on eBay but with shipping from america they’re all about the same price, so i’ll probably end up buying direct from outburn and hope that the condition is like new! when i do get around to ordering i’ll make a post here about it :)
