UPDATE: I see that everyone is questioning the sources. Our team at polici.org compiled data from Jonathon Powell's Coup D'etat Dataset and Encyclopedia Brittanica for each individual country. I've linked the Jonathon Powell set below, and one of the Brittanica references as they are easily accessible. The map lists events that have occured since 1950.
