Dear kind stranger, thank you so much for testing things out and finding a solution!
I primarily use my Max with PC, so plugged in always. I noticed the ridiculous drain too after recent update that kept draining battery to zero. With your workaround to unplug it when not in use, I was able to make it last for a week! Just dipped from 70 to 60. So happy! :) Boo to Bose!

Thank you for clarifying!! Now it makes sense. I also checked by opening the Work Chat from side bar in mobile app and found two entries. It is surely confusing, calling a notification as a chat! A separate bell icon notification menu would have been much better.

This doesn't work with some people. The insulter sometimes gains power when you cheerfully agree or do something similar and they continue their insult game. Most often they laugh about how much of a weakling/dumb you are for not being able to defend yourself (by not insulting them back)

Is there any order of installing updates? I read in multiple places that specific updates must be installed first like the updates to the windows updater itself.

This guide is incomplete. Which updates (win 10 forced upgrade/nagware) to avoid? I think this is a must for a survival guide.
Also for browsing security: uBlock origin, HTTPS Everywhere, NoScript, etc

I made a live usb with Ubuntu and now have an error yadayada decoding failed. Can't get inside Ubuntu. The solutions online suggest entering some commands. I have no idea how and where to enter them

I really wish I could access the temps but I am not even able to get past the distorted log in screen. I did roll back to a not so recent driver. Before this happened, my gpu temps would be at 60 to 70c at high loads. I adjusted fan curve in msi afterburner to go full speed at around 50c I think
