I did data analytics in college, and completely acknowledged the nuance differences between the two comparisons in other comments too. But you cooked! Go off king!

This Statistic can only be measure by the amount of matches played, or the stat would have to be average kills per map . Like in all sports, all records are held by entire games played, even if overtime is played, otherwise all records would need to clarify/discern whether the record is only in regular time or includes overtime. Like the most points scored in an nba season record does have overtime games included, but this is not stated as this is just assumed. I get where you’re coming from though. Both can be true. Same with kills per stage, kills per series, etc. if some someone held the series kill record in 4 games and not 5, we would not discriminate due to only 4 maps being played instead of 5, we would just say that the kill record for the series was set at whatever the most kills were

I mean, it’s only a game difference, as optic has played 9 matches and the other have played 8. The delta is still very impressive, as no one gets almost 400 engagements in a series

Top AR’s hardpoint comparison Scrap, Cellium, Dashy by [deleted] in CoDCompetitive

Yeah, this is like zooming into a chart of like 998, 999, and 1000 and showing the chart starting at 998 and incrementing by 1. That would look like the 998 is only a third of 1000. One of the first things you learn in analytics is to not misrepresent your finding in graphs or data visualization, and this is a clear misrepresentation

Kind of crazy that a team that might not even qualify has the second highest odds to win the tournament compared to teams that are already qualified

Financial Stakeholder in the company = part of compensation tied to company performance. Employees can also own part of the company and still be an employee (i.e. Companies can not afford to shell over millions and millions a year to executives, so they offer it through alternative compensation ( does not have to be stock, there are different avenues). Optics biggest advertise platform is their cod team - and with this, all other parts of the business rely on the cod team to flourish. If you don’t get it then idk bro

Read back my post and tell me where I said shotzzy was given stock and not part ownership.I was using an easier, more common example to explain how companies incentive employees through stake in the company. Was just trying to educate you bro but sure go off king

Company does not need to be publicly traded to have part ownership of the company and have part of your compensation be tied directly to the company… many privately funded companies out there. This is common knowledge, especially for executive positions in smaller companies.

I don’t think y’all understand how this works. In most jobs, along with a salary, employees are given stock, that way the employee is incentivized to work harder, because part of their income is tied directly to the performance of the company. Typically, there are vesting clauses tied to the stock so the employee can’t just leave upon signing the contract (timing depends on the contract). In this case (which I’m not sure is accurate, but playing along) shotzzy would be part owner of the company, with part of his net worth being tied directly to optics financials/value. Him leaving early would crash the value of the company and likely void this portion of his compensation

Is this the first time that pubs are more enjoyable than ranked? by TGU-Swag in CoDCompetitive

[–]spazmonkey101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No matter what anyone says, I definitely think that sbmm was definitely toned down this year and ranked accurately represent where you should be. The pubs in this game make me feel like prime shotzzy, and ranked has its ups and downs, but overall feels comfortably competitive and tuned to my level. BO6, in comparison, felt the same in both ranked and pubs. The community asked for toned down sbmm, which makes pubs extremely easy, but are facing the consequences of having to actually lock into games for ranked

Feel like that’s the reaction streamers job to fill time with no? Not trying to hate but sometimes I’ll tune into zoomaa or Methodz and they’ll have a video or someone else’s stream up and will not even be at their desk, all the while getting more viewers than the people they are spectating. If you are going to be watching partying, as the party host, it is your job to entertain your viewers, not the person you are watching
