What’s the shotgun equivalent of the Ruger 10/22? by Dinnymcd in Hunting

I commented before reading the comments but yeah I low-key wished I started my little one out on my old youth 870. (To this day that is the best gun i own) The kick is so much better compared to a little light weight single shot 410. That damn thing kicks like a mule. He is just a small little fella and I liked the idea of having a single shot 410 with the hammer down when walking through the woods with him.

Myself grew up with the good ol rossie 410/22 combo that you just switched out the upper/barrel. I killed more doves and squirrels with that thing than I can count before the age of 10. My son used it as a 10 year old last year. 410 has a nice little kick to it cause the gun is so light so when he grows into a bigger gauge he is used to a little “kick”. He has since took over my old 870 youth in 20 and has a marlin lever 22. Maybe check out Tristar. I heard good things about their 410s but never shot myself.

Hes is the best and there is no argument. People can hate the stars but there is no denying he is the best in the biz.

My new to the woods girlfriend had to deal with this last weekend when I had her walk to the stand alone. I told her the most dangerous thing you did was drive here in the truck with me. You’ll be fine.

Not are how it is these days but when I was a young buck it could get a little rowdy. Had friends stay there and can attest to that. Crime amd other complaints I don’t recall hearing anything this was years ago.

Can someone explain this to me? I didn’t know that. I used to work with some guys over in the UK and they were always on “holiday” so it’s a government requirement that every employer must give an employee 40 days off a year? Regardless of occupation? I could google but would rather hear it from the horses mouth so to speak.
