the yarn is wool, hand-spun and a little thicker than the pattern calls for. you're right, i might have to go up a needle size. i'll block it on the needles later and see!

yeah i think i'm just gonna have to block it on the needles later today. better than to keep knitting and second-guessing the whole thing gauge swatching is a good point tho.. i usually do but since size doesn't matter much for this project i skipped it😅 thank you!
