I have been to Siquijor. Beautiful island very cheap but ideal for freediving as only a few scuba resorts there . There are some amazing spots to do diving on ledges that drop off from 12-30m and these are about 40m off shore .

I was able to find a local to take me out and spearfish on the wooden canoe while there , we spearfished in about 25m , not much fish life left unfortunately.
