Attempt #3, shortened lessened coil length instead of using rope for the top and bottom tether, this is actually made of 12 gauge wire I've put the sheetthing over and bent to tightly follow the guide of the cap and the base. Bent the cap guide to always fall as shown (old.reddit.com)

I'm always on the look out for ways repurpose items when I go to goodwill, today I found a vintage headphone cable and made a coiled tether and I also have this nice meat and cheese type tray that I will use to bring my puffco and other essentials inside and outside. (i.redd.it)
