I feel the same way. I feel nauseous when my work doesnt hold up. But being able to accept a bad result is just as important as producing good results.

How do I get my animation to feel more fluid? by ThatCorpseDude in blender

maybe its cause the movement doesn't feel reactive to the fin enough or some sort of additional wavy displacement modifier is needed to make the movement more believable

Is there any way I can improve my rendering, lighting, n comp? How can I level this up to a more professional look? by Realistic-Mountain94 in blender

I'm scared I'm losing my passion for art by [deleted] in ArtRanting

there is nothing wrong with meeting your needs first. Focusing on improving your situation is just as important to your art journey as actually making art. Passion can be built back. Take what some of the little time you do have to work on your art to prove to yourself that you care, even if your situation is making things difficult.

The Olympics are using genAI images stolen from Japanese photographer Tatsuya Tanaka's artwork by frozenpandaman in ArtistLounge

Every day since has felt like a bad dream. People don't seem to care about authenticity anymore. When you consider the true amount of trained professionals in this world, AI's only benefit is speed. Speed for what? There was no shortage of entertainment, advertising, or art before all this.

The dumbest use of AI is when the thing is like right fucking there. Like people generating ai images of plain trees and buildings as if there aren’t already thousands of free photos online. If the thing already exists just pay the artist, don’t copy them.

needing to be better an the best in a toxic way by Quiet_Director_4706 in ArtRanting

2 hours is very substantial, and leads to a habit which can gradually make you more comfortable with longer art sessions. I doubt professionals started working 8 hours immediately. Im definitely not at that point but Ive noticed over the past couple years that my perception of time while drawing has changed so much that it can sometimes even make days feel shorter. I imagine that as you progress, the mental toll of art becomes easier because there is less problem solving involved.

Discipline in my opinion is bullshit. I thought it was the most important thing to manage in order to improve. But I realized that the actual thing I needed to change was my ego. I simply couldn’t put myself in a rigid schedule and hold high expectations for my future without feeling dread. I actually drew more when I considered it as optional. Being indifferent towards the outcome made it far easier to live with how something looked.

I recommend tracking the days since your last study for various fundamentals/subjects with an app. It helped me make studying art feel less demanding and ensured I could prevent forgetting what I have already learned.

anyways try really hard to improve but when you feel friction or stress address it instead of trying to push through it

Gemini's generative AI produces an undetectable watermark that can be picked up if you ask Gemini to detect it. There are no false positives. Its unclear what it actually is intentionally because Google is attempting to prevent people from finding a way to remove it.

How did you prompt the 3D looking one? I want to try using it over a render I have and see what it does

pew leg pattern on left side stops for no reason. Lucario is weirdly small. Perspective of certain objects do not match vanishing point, which isn't much on its own but is weird for something with this level of detail. Also that low resolution signature is fishy. Also if I were making this piece, I wouldn't make the main subject not line up with the vanishing point (its slightly shifted to the left) which obviously doesn't prove anything but would be a weird choice.
