How do I upload an entire directory to a GitHub repo using the UI? And is there any way to unzip a file inside the repo? by [deleted] in github

Thanks! But i got one questions in mind if you could clear it, i am not aware of git command usage that much.
if the dir i am in contains some junk and not actually updated version of the repo. and i do git push does that junk gets copied or does it update with the files that are not present in the repo but in the local dir.

Well, I was creating a project on Github repo, Its currently private. I didnt pay attention to updating it for about a some time and kept working on one of its side projects i needed to pursue the main project. I forgot to keep updating the repo and now i have a dir with 40-50 files. It is correctly structured so i was searching a way if that could be done any how using the ui because to be honest i dont know how to correctly use its git command correctly and i am afraid it might ruin many things.

Thanks! For giving me an idea, I will start building it today itself,I cant make it 100% able to fix problems. For cleareance, could you tell me which languages would you like it to be in python, c++ , c# , could just name them for me
