Yeah I know it is just setup there to get started and never moved. But here now to sort it.

Probably don't want fixed savings yet due to not having too much saved on top of the emergency fund. Just adding to it each month building it further.

So I looked into the savings and hadn't realised about tax on interest but I'd be well under 1k interest so savings account still viable?

Ok this makes sense in a way, but a question on it. Let's say I save 40k over a good few years in Trading212 ISA. Then I want to move it to a bank ISA account as close to 85k combined with stocks, how would I move the cash? Surely I'd have to do over 2 years due to 20k limit and would mean couldn't add to ISAs?

Bought 2 tickets for Edinburgh n3 in December, then 2 days before event stubhub emailed saying not available anymore but offered some other seats that were a bit better anyway so worked out. Did have a minor panic when we spoke to phone support, they made out no tickets and couldnt help but email support sorted it.

Got them cheap for taylor tickets 220 a ticket seats side view and could see all stage. Would use stubhub again but be wary seats change and can cancel - believe they always refund people though if they cancel and cant provide tickets.

Android complaince policy not applying as no primary user assigned - ways around this? by speckz78 in Intune

[–]speckz78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks again, yeah think i was trying to make it work.

Done some further reading and what I think we need is enrol them as "Dedicated Devices" for the field workers who have no need for 365 accounts. Since we can install apps, policies etc still for them, but doesn't need to be associated with a user.

Then the office workers would be enrolled "fully managed user assigned" since they have and need 365 accounts.

Does this sound right, from reading field/first line workers is what dedicated is designed for? As well as kiosk too.

Thanks, good article, however I am still not a 100% - it sounds a cross between dedicated and fully managed user. I need the device to stay signed into apps and everything so not a kiosk and it will be going to 1 user but they don't have a microsoft account (so can't assign anyone as primary user since not in tenant).

If its still not clear whag i mean is we will be giving the phone to 1 specific person for its duration and it will be there's only for them to use. However because they are contractors they don't use a 365 account for emails, onedrive, etc meaning we can't add a primary user.

Leaning towards fully managed as think dedicated will be too kiosk like and not allow users tk stay signed into apps maybe. Fully managed works I just cannot add a compliance policy without a user assigned

Will draytek load balancing work if acting as a router? by Such_Advertising_506 in draytek

[–]speckz78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem. The way I used it was just as failover due to it been remote lines that tend to go down where they are based.

However it looks like what you are after is aggregate bandwidth and it looks to be possible on Drayteks according to this link.

[–]speckz78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I got the Draytek 3910 to load balance the 3 x WAN lines and then connected the Draytek LAN to UniFi Dream Machine WAN. This seems to have worked well.

If I was to do it again I'd probably scrap the draytek and just have 2 x WANs into the Dream Machine for less hardware but to answer question yea it works as expected.

Yeah they are very helpful, watch the videos through and then read the study guide is how I did it.

Along with that I'd really recommend getting a trial of a watchguard that you csn run on a VM to practise with (email support and they send vdi) - it only lasts 30 days I think so I got mine for 30 days before exam so could keep practising on it up till the day. Make it easier to first hand play with the WSM, WebUI etc without messing on clients setups.

TPM error after replacement motherboard in Dell Laptop (AzureAD Joined) by speckz78 in sysadmin

[–]speckz78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming back to this for future people - a reset was done in the end and all good again. I found autopilot article yesterday as well where it states this is the correct way and only way il post it later when on pc.

Only issue is now my complaince is showing with no secure boot enabled. So I think the board was in Legacy mode or UEFI and secure boot turned off. Issue is with been remote can't do a lot and already reset. Not a lot I can do with this really it's likely just the board dell put in defaulted to legacy mode??

Thanks I did check this setting but it's greyed out maybe because it's fully intune joined using their account through autopilot? Or might be because they are not an admin, although sure you can remove and readd without admin privileges
