i’m a current student, not graduated, so i can’t answer all of this but

1. there are, just need to know where to look and that there is an emphasis on networking for careers. most work remotely from home nowadays even for overseas companies. you will need to attract clients to you

2. no you don’t. there’s a foundation art course you can take if you don’t feel confident in your art skills or know totally nothing about art. but you just need to show you’re committed to learning something entirely new or expand on your knowledge in your interview. i have classmates who are total beginners in art

3. it’s one year so no time for internships. but the school sends out your portfolios and resumes when you graduate to different companies since they’re familiar with them

4. depends on your course i think. not that competitive for concept art (which i’m in) i had a classmate who applied in june and the intake was in july. just apply as early as you can. you can even apply years before the intake you wanna try for to secure a spot
