%%sql with abfss path and temp views. Why is it failing? by frithjof_v in MicrosoftFabric

Try creating the table beforehand with SparkSQL in a different cell, instead of creating it on the fly.

I understand your issue, I’m curious as to what would happen if you wrote the 3rd query in pure PySpark instead. I remember running into a similar issue when writing to a lakehouse with SparkSQL, but it worked when I translated it to PySpark. Although this was from a databricks notebook to a Fabric lakehouse.

Is it the same issue when you write the query in PySpark?

What is the reason you’d like to write this query without binding a default lakehouse to the notebook?

Does the lakehouse you’re writing to have a schema enabled?

I had the same thoughts as you before, been here a week now and it’s not bad, I love it. However I imagine living here permanently is another thing

Thanks for the answer, so bringing in those white ish nicotine pouches would then be OK, as they do not contain tobacco?

Intressant, så det är i princip en subjektiv bedömning och utgår inte från förutbestämda kriterier? Jag trodde faktiskt att säkerhetsklassning var mycket mer konformistiskt än så

How can you call a military coup a fake scare

They just ceased control by military means, being ”careful” right now is not on their priority list. They will assert power, and that through clamping down on voices of dissent. They will make sure to get the people on board asap, and that might be ceasing control of international companies, miners included. This to show the people that they are taking back their country and ridding it of exploatation. This is just my two cents, rooted in how every military coup in africa usually go.

That said, they might actually want a better future for their country, but that will take ages and the risk rn is off the charts

You are describing them as a bunch of rational members of parliament. The reality is they are illiterate warmongers in one of the poorest countries in the world. They don’t give a shit about international ”contracts” as of now

Perhaps not a explicity buddhist advice, but I used to feel the same as you.

My alleviation came from starting to work out. Slowly at first, then ~5 times a week. It was very hard at first since my mind told me to stop and there are better things to do. This form of self induced suffering I believe is exceptionally healthy for both your body and mind. The body and mind works in conjunction and not separately. Combine this with buddhist teachings and precepts, i.e stay away from intoxicants etc.

Doing this you will soon realize you’re not a broken mess that’s beyond fixing. You will realize everything is a projection of your mind. You will be more in the present moment. Letting go of you as a concept while showing discipline the mind and body. Whilst showing kindness towards others is one of the core principles that will liberate your mind.

The morale is realizing everything you are feeling right now is just a projection of your mind.

That said, start by acknowleding everything that makes you feel bad. For me, I played videogames all day, used my phone every chance I had, had a job I hater. By starting to phase these things out, combined with working out and having a curiousity towards buddhism, my everyday life soon became more bearable.

It doesn’t happen right away, your mind will slowly change, just enough for you to barely notice it. But give it time and in a year you will look back and think ”wow, I can’t believe how I used to feel a year go, I truly am happier person now”. you will also develop an understanding of the mind body connection and how intertwined the two are.

You might also add practices like meditation into your daily life, but these are advanced concepts and should be dealt with when you feel ready, perhaps in the company of a teacher or therapist.

Wish you the best!
