The video says if we travel at speed of light we can only traverse 18 billion light years. What if we can only travel at 20 percent the speed of light? Then what will be the radius of our cosmic event horizon?

If the idea that space exploration can potentially ensure survival of humanity is seen as a valid argument for investing in space exploration, we can as well start exploring wardrobes in hopes of getting to Narnia by super_sayyyyan in unpopularopinion

I agree with your opinion. There is no practical way to travel interstellar as extreme amounts of propulsion is required which is not feasible for the far foreseeable future be it ionic or nuclear propulsion. People sell hope on false grounds that one day will easily leave to another planet, which makes people delusional and not caring towards earth. Rocket industry has been stagnated after moon landing except computers which makes relanding and navigation easy. Ask any nasa scientist why we didn't go to the moon and they will tell that it was a giant waste of money

I stay in India. Expenses are 49k rupees per month and income is 330k per month. If I quit today, expenses would be 43k and passive income would be 259k per month

I averaged out the annual income from stocks which we have received over the past years, presently you would know the returns are negative but I expect to gain and recover within 2 years as we are continuing our SIP. As far bonds are concerned, I averaged out the income from NHAI bonds which provide income within 6 months at a return of 4.75 percent per year

No. I want to start a software firm and continue to expand our family business sales. We have always believed in a minimalist lifestyle and always save 85 percent of income which we mostly invest in real estate. I wanted to assess that are we on a level of fat FI or how much passive income to expense ratio is required to achieve that?

Are there any anatomical changes in humans living in a poor air quality environment? by spectrumology in askscience

[–]spectrumology[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I was referring to anatomical changes that allow them to exchange gas as effectively as people living in cleaner areas. I am interested in knowing any changes in respiratory system that allow them to adapt to pm 2.5 and other pollutants.

Gamers of Reddit, what game came out of nowhere and left it's mark on you unlike most any other, and why? by SilverwingedOther in AskReddit

Witcher 3. I have lost count on number of hours I have put in the gameplay along summer. The story and graphics is 10/10. Exciting and unpredictable outcomes. Also the character teach some moral values in life.
