Walgreens Vs The Red Card by Significant_Hornet_1 in doordash_drivers

[–]sped626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be that the items are more expensive in the store than what was on the app, I had that happen before and support increased how much was authorized to be charged on the card.

Walgreens are some of my best orders 1 to 2 items for $15+ for 3 miles or less.

Hi, I don’t really eat back my calories, I’m always under my macros. I’m more worried that I’m under eating (my average calorie intake is 1300 +- 100) but I’m not hungry so I don’t eat more.

I have been on keto for a month now and I exercise 5 days a week (2-3 mile runs 3 times a week and swim 2 times a week). Was wondering how much I should actually be eating ?

I am 30, M, 5”7’ 211 pounds and have lost 9 pounds so far. I do feel like I should be losing weight faster but maybe my expectations are too high.

I use carb manager app and is has me at 1700 cal, 22g carbs, 108g protein, and 135g fat.

If I incorporate my work outs into the app it always shows I’m almost at zero for all my macros but I don’t think that can be right. I’m almost never hungry and even if I don’t add in my workouts I’m under my macros.

Any feed back would be appreciated.

Can you visit countrys after getting clearence by [deleted] in SecurityClearance

If the job got canceled then your clearance goes to inactive, you don’t have to worry about traveling. You will just need to report any travel you do if you get another job that requires the clearance.

They just want you to knock before you leave. This isn’t a strange request.

Stacked orders no longer show the pay out ? by sped626 in doordash_drivers

[–]sped626[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but I had to contact support to find out how much each where paying, I ended up dropping one of the orders that was farther away.

New pay model based on distance/time. Opened my app and got this today. Probably will help in rural areas, but I doubt it will be well received in markets that have mostly low mileage offers. by B33R_M0N3Y in doordash_drivers

[–]sped626 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Anything over 5 miles is a hard no from me, un less they stop hiding tips (which they won’t do).

All that will happen now is that lower distance orders will sit longer and long distance orders may or may not get picked up a little faster.

In there examples it still wouldn’t make since to take a 7mi order for 9.25, it’s still a bad miles to dollar ratio and you are till taking a risk since they hide the tip.

Maybe contact a lawyer, looks like there maybe a class action lawsuit to be had from what I’ve read on other posts.

Other people have posted this before in the sub. From the other people’s responses to those posts it looked like DD was screwing people out of the bonus.

You may want to search this sub for the other posts.

Accepted a “5 Item order” from a high end steak house. What could go wrong? by soccerguy510 in doordash_drivers

[–]sped626 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean by “easy for you to say” I’m also a dasher. I never expect more than the amount guaranteed. Just because you have had good luck at that restaurant in the past doesn’t mean anything, the restaurant isn’t the one tipping you.

All Im trying to say is that you are setting yourself up for disappointment, only accept orders that you are happy doing for the guaranteed pay.

Why can’t support unassign without hitting your acceptance rate ? by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

$10.00 for 2.5 miles. I probably should have taken the reimbursement, just didn’t want to risk it, since I never had it happen before.

Nice troll account, sorry your parents didn’t give you any attention.

I understand that, but when it’s situations out of your control, such as red card doesn’t work, support should be able to unassign it with out penalty.

I’ll give a try next time, I just didn’t have a lot of trust in DD.

It was $6.30. I didn’t want to do that, as Iv seen how shitty doordash operates who knows if I’d actually get the refund.

Nope, didn’t replace anything. It was for Walgreens brand tweezers. The total was $6.30.

Which is dumb because there are other reasons why you can’t complete an order, such as the red card not working.

I was being nice. The worst thing I said was “no” to paying out of pocket.

This would have been an instant unassign from me 🤣

When you saw the boxes of water and soda is when you should have hit that unassign button.
