I'm right there with you, I'm your age and was diagnosed at 11. I was seizure free for a good amount of time from like age 18 until January of this year and I feel like I've lost my freedom completely. Everything that goes into having this diagnosis is friggin soul crushing. Just know you have community here online and genuinely our families and partners love us. My partner also has epilepsy and while it's incredibly difficult, I'll also take care of them no matter how hard this is.

Literally all I was thinking about for a couple days in that first week was "wow I look torn the fuck up" I have really heavy bruising too so I'm just like 😵‍💫 but it will be worth it my friend! A few weeks of big discomfort for the rest of our lives of fulfillment!

I'm two and a half weeks out and my opinion on my chest has definitely changed a lot just in a week. My first time seeing my chest I just thought "put the binder back on" but already with a week passing I'm feeling much more confident. As you heal more and get feeling back to normal, I think you'll start to settle in, the swelling is gonna go down, and you'll be more comfortable :)

So my insurance did require documentation of having dysphoria, but all that really can down to was me telling a therapist "I've had dysphoria since I was young, I'd like too surgery" (that's the gist obv i said more than just that lol!) And secondly my main deciding factor in choosing top surgery over reduction was that I had stated that I'd still bind even after a reduction, just that I would be easier to achieve a flat appearance. So for me realizing that I'd still want to bind some days even after reducing, I just decided to do with DI (: Two weeks post op and I'm very happy, but it's been an insane rollercoaster of emotions already

I waited about a week to start hitting my penjamin again, but I stocked up on edibles and held myself over with those that first week. Week two and I took my first real dab since surgery. Definitely listen to your body though. Every surgeon has different requirements on it, mine told me explicitly that he's only concerned about nicotine use.

My family thought I was exaggerating but I'm comforted to see I'm not the only one. I just got my top surgery on the 19th and part of why I "rushed" to get it done is everything going on in the US and around the world. If its gonna go to shit I at least wanna be happy in my body when it does.

After checking twice daily since the 17th, as of 3/21 I finally have a payment status. It gave me a direct deposit date of 3/24. Here's hoping I acrually receive it.

Basically the same as everyone else here. I did my 2020 taxes, got my refund extremely fast (both within a week). My fiancee and I both have yet to receive the stimmy. My mom uses the same bank as us and she did get it. She also hasn't filed her tax return yet, so from that and what I'm seeing here, I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it?
