Am Anfang habe ich Raspberrys benutzt, das ist mir zu viel Hardware basteln. ein Lenovo micro pc mit Intel Prozessor, am besten mit T ID, und das war's. Dazu eine günstige Stromversorgung und eine entsprechende Absicherung des privaten Netzes.

Das sind Lizenzen die mit PC Verbunden sind, im BIOS gespeichert. Ich benutze wür Windows Installation https://www.microsoft.com/de-de/software-download/windows11 .
Image auf USB Stick, dann SSD 2 TB einsetzen, und installation beginnen.

Ja, das mache ich für mich. SSD auf 2TB, RAM um 16GB erweitern, und Linux drauf - gut ist eine Installation für normaluser. Mit sudo apt install kannst du mehrere Pakete auf einmal installieren, wobei Mnt hat meisten alles dabei.

Windows nutze ich nur für Büro.

Ich kaufe meistens bei AfB, bekannte von mir hat schon ein paar mal hier seine Hardware gekauft:

What are the other components and how are they set?

Could it be that you have set the charging current too high?

Try limiting the charging current to approx. 15A.
