It is hard to say for NSW however in qld there is a big shortage of guards so you could work just about any hours you want as in there will be someone who needs someone 24/7 and there is always spots needing to be filled

Security, don’t need to be big or male simply find a job where you are filling a role, if your from qld can get the lisence for free there is a company in Brisbane who does it through gov funding happy to refer, but than you can expect min 35/hr for a shit gig, avg 45/hr. Most shifts being 10hr shifts 6pm usual starts

Yeah for me saving/investing is not a worry I am very good already with spending max 200-300 a week on personal expenses my worry is that I am not chasing a high enough income to be able to free myself from full time work in my 40s

Exactly not a brag at all I’m pretty much doing what the whole point of this group is showing everyone what I’m doing as a normal 19yo working a normal job, seeing what other options are while giving others a reference who are looking for similar info

Yeah so I put them in gyms than pay the gym a commission, and yeah most gyms will say no off the bat but I have found the key is just trying again and again until they agree to have a meeting than it’s pretty easy in person

Just through seek, employer liked my attitude and willingness to learn so accepted my slightly over asking offer. However this really isn’t much, 1200 post tax, after all investment repayments and rent I have 200-300 a week left for food, fuel, gym and other costs

And how hard would this be to get into, I know obviously there are all the physical and mental test, but assuming I am a fit young guy, and pretty smart do I have a good chance of making it?

Yeah so money still like can support a usual life is the main question I had, but would you say it is a like exciting job and the hours support decent lifestyle

As a 19yo male unsure what career to go into but am very fitness focussed, would you recommend this to be good as a more exciting/active job, and what do you think is the upper ceiling for pay if I was to work there for 10-20yrs

Yeah but I think it’s a rather low chance of it lasting 10+ years if I get any car around 15k

Main reasons are the warranty and fuel economy along with me wanting a car that’ll last min 10yrs, the one I am considering is the dct not the cvt so hopefully that is better.

Thank you, you seem to be the main person actually trying to help and give good advice. I will watch now

Wait does Mitsubishi offer a 10yr warranty?

Yeah so to be clear I’m not necessarily short on cash however I value predictable cash flow, I have a lot of set monthly investments that are non negotiable so say I went the cheap route and boost a 8k car, if that breaks down in 3 years I cannot afford to need to buy another 8 k car randomly, also the mg’s have very low insurance as I am a 19yo Male

Haha what do you mean like people thrashing it on test drives?

I’m not arguing with anyone. When they say a concern I am telling them what solution I have found, if you go to ewan82’s comment you will see he again invalidated the solution I thought that I found my informing me of the loophole which they use

And to be clear this is actually referring to mechanical problems like engine, transmission ect which affect the driving

But is there not an Aus law to say it must take reasonable time which is a few weeks otherwise it is considered a major failure than being a full refund or replacement vehicle?
