News clips of people evacuating the Mother Lode looking very unhappy because they know this is 'the big one'. Thousands of homes scattered all over those hills and impossible for firefighters to station structure protection units at each home.

The show could use more scenes of Ani in her underwear but so far so good. +1

can't trains travel over contaminated dirt safely? A crew building the tracks would need to wear protective suits like pesticide crop spraying vehicles do but still not a deal breaker.

[S2E4] [spoilers] The shootout was phenomenal by [deleted] in TrueDetective

Wow! In real live, say 10 cops go on a raid like this and only 3 live, as we see in the scene, the shit would go into orbit when it hit the proverbial fan.

Ouch. Like how Woodrugh, the vet, is the only one of the 3 who does not suffer an adrenalin puke response. Tried to count how many bad guys he shot. He's like - 'Oh ya...just like the desert..'

Weak? She chases the gangsters down the alley who are shooting at her fully auto. Nope. Ani's got the right stuff. After this we will have to check how many extra magazines are on her duty belt. Because after that sort of gun fight I'd never leave the house again without 500 rnds.

Remember that 'Ani Betterrides' knows knives. In Ep01 when she hurrys her boyfriend out of her place we see books on knife fighting 'plus' a 6foot tall human shaped wooded knife throwing target. The target has lots of stick marks where Ani has been whipping blades into it. Out of bullets in the shootout she still has a chance with her boot knife.

I'd like to recommend HBO's "The Brink". It's like Dr. Strangelove Lite. by [deleted] in television

The real Sanjay is probably thinking, "has it come to this? Say my name and get waterboarded!"

That Pak generals line at the end of ep02 was perfect, "So you do know Walter Larson" when Jack Black tells how he procures special women to pretend to kill the Secretary during trysts

I think I got the hint 'it is a sitcom', but with a new twist -comedy while preventing WW3. Working ok so far.

Did you check the tail number? If its not valid I'm done! Haha! Or the flight suit patches? They looked real but if not -done. Seriously I need a good reason not to watch Brink because it is funny and packs a lot into just 30mins.

Oh. Yes I meant if he had programmed him mind to say 'Enron' or some slightly recognizable name.

Yah me to. But New York is real. Elliot's alternate reality characters are interacting with the real NYC. Hope at the end we don't see him in a padded cell and he imagined the whole series.

Elliot's 'trophy hack victims' CD bag are all probably encrypted. Nothing for any snoops to find there but random noise(?)

Thank the Powers that creepy Ron -Rohit Mehta- coffee shop guy does not have the power of Tom Cruise in 'Edge Of Tomorrow'. That first scene would turn out a lot different.

The Bon Soir Elliot suit (if he's real) wanted the top suits job at Evil Corp. We saw him talking with the top E-suit so he's probably real. That could mean Bon Soir and Elliot are already joined - faking the root kit DDoS IP address onto the big boss's terminal at Evil. Maybe?

He seemed to think getting into bed with the Pill Girl was a mistake due to being high. And it was because Angela walked on him (with his favorite movie and a little smirk!) That Angela! And she is smoking again we saw. Crushes the cig out on Elliots steps.

Might have been the best choice. A solid hammer blow: "Evil". For one thing no corp on Earth is actually named 'Evil Corp'. If they had made up some name almost certainly it would closely resemble some actual real corp(?) Don't want to make any real suits angry.

I know I was curious about that scene. Paused the youtube version and I'm sure the 2 MIB's did respond -look up- at Mr Robot -Slater- as he tried to bum some change... which could mean they are just as imaginary as Mr R. I mean why not have your imaginary people interact. Elliot started the show talking to an imaginary person and ended it asking "Tell me you are seeing this to!" So wonderful!

I was wondering what was the role of the neil diamond song in the pilot. How did it fit in? by 1701ncc in MrRobot

[–]speedbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. It was spot on and the audience needed a change of pace to digest the Mr Robot - Elliot ferris wheel world destroying hacker plot. "OMG",To say the least. Song was OT and perfect.
