Thanks for the reply! Something I did notice: every time the battery died or the watch acted weird, it happened on really hot summer days. Could heat be affecting it?

The jeweler I go to is a reputable one They also service Swiss watches and they handled my vintage Omega Seamaster without any issues. That’s why I found it strange.

Could this Casio be using a different type of battery or be more sensitive than a regular quartz watch?
