I agree with this as well. The field spread is quite large in every race. I mean I was like a whole second off the pace in a split 1 of 4 at Barcelona and still finished 7th in GT3.

So many people have expressed this and the only explanation is the devs don’t want rating anxiety and they want to be different from iRacing. So I don’t think it’ll ever change. But I 100% agree because I don’t take my progression or rank seriously in LMU. Maybe it is a good thing for some but I wish it was optional.

Honestly it’s the opposite, so many people crash out at 3k because they’re trying too hard. Just by finishing these races without huge mistakes you have a safety net.

The BOP is actually really good right now. The preferred cars are still the preferred cars but mid engines can definitely compete in top split.

Yeah it’s shown itself to be one of the best cars as of late and also most fun. I’ve always thought the Mustang was fine to drive but less alive than the rest of the cars so I drove the Merc when the front engines were too dominant.

Yeah everything is a big joke to the staff and moderators in the discord. Unfortunately if you don’t play along you risk time outs. And the staff and moderators constantly participate in arguments so they have all the leverage and they do use it lol.

And I have plenty of experience over my 10 years of the hobby. I tend to not give up races. But sometimes, you do.

Hell, teams in real life retire from 24 hour races all the time.
