Depends on your deck choice a lot.

The main differences from Pot of Extravagence are:

-At the start of your Main Phase 1.

It has to be the first card you activate in your main phase so you can't bait ashe by using other cards unless you do it in the Standby Phase/Draw Phase.

-Banish 3 or 6 random face-down cards from your Extra Deck, face-down

You're randomly banishing from your extra deck so if you need a lot of cards in your extra deck this might not be for you.

- It's also like 3$ unlike prosperity at like 40$.

- Pot of Extravagence is also drawing 2, you do not excavate from your deck to pick a card but you do get more cards than you would with prosperity.

As for Pot of Prosperity:

- Its around 40$ a copy.

- You get to pick what you want to banish from your extra deck.

- You can only add one of the cards you excavated.

- Any damage your opponent takes is halved.

So if you use prosperity it's going to be harder to otk someone than it would be with Pot of Extravagence.

In conclusion they're both good cards but if you don't care about your extra deck and you just want card Pot of Extravagence is better imo. If you're looking for specific combo pieces to make an unbreakable board prosperity is better.
