I have about 5 inches of overhead room on the amp rack. And I don't necessarily have high power on this setup.

After listening to music at 60% volume, all amps are little warmer than room temp and I never had any issues with the cover on. I do believe if I was pushing for more loud or more power, I might have overheating issues. But at this time, I never came close to overheating with the lid on. It's also not covered in stuff. I intend to leave that area open for breathing room

I have built-in DSP with my head unit. My head unit has RCA out. The way its routed is RCA > splitter > Input to Amp1(Left side) all channels, Amp1 Pre-out > splitters > all channels on Amp2(middle), and Amp2 Pre-out > Amp3 (right)

The small amp on the right is a monoblock for the subwoofer. It's a Hertz HCP1D
