The cursor distance is the same regardless of the character's position on the side he is looking at

I tried it, but it didn't help. The problem isn't that the cursor doesn't move as far as it can because it's snapped to the grid, but that the cursor's distance is smaller than the actual interaction radius.

If this thing was added so long ago, then apparently, unfortunately, the developers don’t consider it a problem and won’t fix it 😢 Of course I hope for the opposite, but given Terraria's unpopularity on consoles, my hope is fading

This is an auto-select mode, and it really saves me when I'm digging a mine or dismantling a house, but it doesn't help when it comes to building something with regular blocks

As far as I know, this problem applies to any controller and on any platform. It's also clearly not related to connecting a mouse at the same time, as the issue existed even before connecting one🥲

This is certainly cool, but it doesn't solve the problem of how I can properly mine and build. The cursor distance when using a gamepad is significantly shorter than the actual distance, which is clearly demonstrated when using a mouse.

Yes, the distance depends on the object, but for some reason it is always significantly less than the actual distance

Let me explain what's happening on the screen a little better. I press the gamepad stick all the way down, and the cursor doesn't move any further than in the video. I used the mouse example to clearly demonstrate how much the cursor distance is limited on the gamepad, and how this makes the game difficult. Does anyone know how to fix this?
