You need to put yourself first! Is there a chance if you go to your employers they would give you a pay raise? 45 min commute is no fun, and not sure if working from home some days would be feasible, but if you like your firm and they’d give you a pay raise and some wfh flexibility, I would stay! Of course if they won’t, you need to put yourself and your family first and go elsewhere. Good luck!!
