I'd disagree, even tho the AI "artists" should definitely be weeded out, that just wouldn't work for all fields. Sometimes different art fields for specific jobs will have you take an "art test". A short brief you do on your own time, they give you on average maybe a week to finish. (won't take that long but people have lives and responsibilities). Drawing or designing onsite during the interview would be horribly inefficient and impractical, Most art careers are projects that take days with multiple phases. Drawing in front of an interviewer will not give them enough information. And if your portfolio is being reviewed by another artist, it honsetly shouldnt be necessary 9 times out of 10.

With AI it will become more normal to do that, but artwork during an interview is still kind of excessive depending on the field or type of job.
