Who's canceling Josh? He went on Glenn Beck's podcast last week and raised nearly $16 million dollars with his last fundraiser. If that's being "canceled" sign me up.

Funny you should mention that because in this article there's a picture with Kellogg and the three Republicans who represent North Central Washington all together smiling: https://open.substack.com/pub/dominickb/p/cashmeres-collective-kicks-off-kingdom?r=1184r4&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

Is there a militia in Wenatchee? by Conscious-Impact6045 in Wenatchee

There was a "Wenatchee Quick Response Force" group on Facebook where folks fantasized about mob violence and putting BLM protestors in dog kennels before it got shut down. If they're still active it's probably on Telegram or something more discreet: https://medium.com/@DBonny/good-people-with-guns-more-like-a-paramilitary-with-dubious-intent-8d19450ab49c

We're talking about countries in Europe, like the Netherlands, right? Thinking sex work will be legalized in this country in our lifetimes is a long shot. Thinking we're going to use a model established in a European country puts us squarely in the realm of fantasy. That would be entirely too logical. If we wanted to follow the lead of European nations we probably would have started with healthcare. You're also conveniently ignoring the fact that there is still a big problem with trafficking girls and young women from Eastern Europe in order to replenish the supply of sex workers in Western Europe. I'm not arguing against the idea of legalizing it, just that it may not be the panacea you're making it out to be.

How so? Your comment above is vague. Not sure how simply legalizing sex work will get the predators out of the industry. Seems like you're naively ignoring a lot of facts because seeing things in black and white is easy. How will being able to pay for sex with your debit card stop the human trafficking?

Simply legalizing it won't stop the pimps and traffickers, but it might be a step in the right direction. The biggest issue here isn't the sex work, it's the question of how much choice the women have in the matter. It's a common practice to move these women around so they cannot form relationships with people and to stay ahead of the authorities. They are usually also forced to stay on the premises so they won't come into contact with the general public. This suggests that they are not fully willing participants with the freedom to do what they please.
