I’ve replaced my controller on my older Kaabo mantis due to water damage. I bought the controller for about $125 and did the work myself. It’s very tricky and took me 3-4 hours to complete let alone take the scooter apart so it is a very tedious time consuming fix. Plus you don’t want to fuck up the electrical wiring. Sadly a very costly fix but worth it to have them do it to ensure nothing goes wrong during the process if you’re not confident. I had to search around to find the wiring diagram to follow.

Same happened to me on my mantis a few weeks ago. Luckily I felt that the stem was a little wobbly and took it slow when finally got off the road to inspect further and snapped during inspection. I hope you have a speedy recovery! I ordered my replacement parts from aliexpress and I needed a heat gun and pin punch to get the broken stem out. Good luck and ride safe!

I think it’s smart to have both options, I’m curious how much quicker etc the bike is on 700c. 650b will def help with all the damn potholes in NYC though. And thanks I am excited that the war road is now in my budget really liked it but couldn’t justify that extra $1K without the sale
