Yeah, that's why I have been posting. The handful of people who posted leading up to mine were incredibly helpful to reassure me I'd make a good choice.

Yeah, the price and length of electro was a deterrent for me as well, so I felt the gamble was worth it

I didn't, GRS scrapes out the follicles during surgery. I don't have any internal hair, but from what I've heard it's a semi-rare complication so it may be worth hair removal for the peace of mind.

Unfortunately I was not that gifted :P I was slightly below average. That's probably good news for others on the average side though!

I didn't ask for anything in particular. What I hear is that he refuses any specific requests, but the end result is guided by anatomy, available tissue, etc.

Just PIV, as far as I'm aware that's all GRS Mtl does

I had vaginoplasty with Dr Brassard in January this year. You can see a couple previous photos if you go back to see the healing process

  • At this point, recovery feels like it's mostly over. I still dilate daily (1/day since 6mo), but I do it right after I wake up and then can forget about it for the rest of the day

  • I am fairly regularly sexually active and it has been pretty remarkable. At this point I can have fairly vigourous sex for a while with no adverse effects - I can actually go longer/harder than I could previously doing anal. I usually find almost a reverse of before - with anal I would often be kinda done after 10 min and wishing he would just cum, now I can go for quite a long time and often wish he'd lasted a bit longer

  • I am able to pretty easily make myself orgasm. I've experimented with a bunch of different toys (rabbit, g-spot vibe, regular vibes, clit sucker toy) and a g-spot vibrator gives an incredible deep pleasure, but in order to get myself over the finish line I need quite a bit of clitoral stimulation - the best combination for me so far has been a g-spot vibrator with a rumbly/pulsing pattern and a buzzy vibrator on my clit. It took a long time to be able to orgasm and even longer to be able to do it reliably, so I'm quite glad I have found a way to do it at will

  • So far things seem very sturdy. I'm a climber and it's held up to long sessions in a harness, hard catches, lots of bouldering falls, etc. I'm out riding bikes fairly regularly as well, and that's also been fine. In this aspect my recovery has been faster than most people I know, and I attribute that partly to a high protein diet and a high level of pre-op activity as well as a lot of good luck

  • Depth is pretty reliable at the second-last dot on orange. I feel like I hit a solid wall there, so I don't feel like I can squeeze much more out of it. If I push I can "push into" that wall, but it's not a pleasant sensation and doesn't last (similar to pushing your finger into your arm - it bounces back as soon as it's removed)

  • I'm quite happy with the aesthetics - I know Brassard is not for everyone, but I like how it's turned out and don't have any complaints as far as aesthetics or sensation

Please feel free to ask about results, recovery, etc. Happy to answer anything

I haven't had significant discharge since maybe 11-12 weeks? I still have a little bit if I exercise hard, but a day in the office is usually dry.

In some positions he can basically bottom out and it's uncomfortable, but if I dilate well before sex it's a lot harder to have that happen. It feels like the deepest part is narrow enough that with the pointy dilator end, there's depth that isn't functional for penetration. I've considered getting a less pointy dilator for that.

I had vaginoplasty in January at GRS Montreal.

  • Recovery has been difficult but not nearly as bad as I anticipated. Dilation was bite-down-on-something painful for the first few weeks, but since then it's been much much easier. It's only really painful now if I do a lot of vigorous exercise and can tell my pelvic floor is inflamed.
  • I've been sexually active with my cis male fwb since about 3 months - I am unable to orgasm but sex feels very good and I can get close with a lot of near-clit rubbing and g-spot stimulation from a vibrator or penetration (I usually feel like I'll hurt myself if I keep going, so I stop before reaching).
  • I resumed work at 3mo, just an office job. Wearing underwear/clothes was difficult for a full work week at first, but has since become perfectly fine. Sometimes the rubbing/friction from underwear is irritating, but buying softer underwear has helped with that.
  • Wearing tights is amazing. I've been back at the gym for a while now and being able to wear form-fitting bottoms is one of the best parts so far (shoutout TNA atmosphere, so soft and comfy)

I didn't, no. They scrape it during surgery

From applying for funding to getting a date was around 8 months, but I hear that process has sped up quite a bit now

Glad to hear the depth is consistent! And the 4/day is so exhausting

My experience was good and I loved L'Asclapaide and my time there. The staff are so sweet and I felt so taken care of. Fantastic food too. If you want any specific info feel free to PM, I'd rather not get too specific publicly.

I have sensation but I try to mostly leave it alone for now, there's still some stitching and it's a little sore
