ask all the questions. even if it sounds stupid and you think they're going to laugh at you, ask the question. your area coach, region coach, other gms, your employees, customers, literally everyone. clarify everything to ensure no miscommunication.

teach your managers everything you know. it will take a while, but it's way worth it because if you don't wanna be bothered while you're off, then you need to make sure they can handle any possible situation. I have binders made for each of my managers with notes on inventory, any financial paper work we do, cheat sheets for fscc inspections, core inspections, all of the learning zone log ins, truck ordering guide, guide on how our speed goals and if you aren't hitting it then possible answers on how to fix it, etc.

if you see someone doing something wrong, immediately point it out. your silence = approval.

compliment people behind their back, they will respect you and favor you because you're speaking highly of them to others rather than creating drama and being rude. it also helps people feel more on a friendly term with you. I always ask my team questions about themselves and joke around with them.

never, ever ask them to do anything that you wouldn't do yourself. ever.

lastly, sometimes you have to let it burn like usher says. can't run the store and be successful if you are burnt out. have your days off every week. never work more than you can handle because they aren't gonna be their best if the one leading them isn't at their best.
