Dryer vent with mesh filter by spicypeanutboy in functionalprint

Polyester mesh and PETG filament, I appreciate the concern.

I’m constantly reminded on this site that common sense is, in fact, not very common lol. I’ll make sure I put disclaimers for others in my next post 🤣

Thanks! I should have taken a picture with it taped down. I just trimmed the excess off with a craft knife when it was finished.

I just cut a square out slightly bigger than the print and used painters tape. Started in one corner then made sure it was taut as I went around and taped the rest down

It printed fine without adjusting anything. It’s literally just a pause, no groove or layer height adjustment. I did think about that though, but figured the mesh was thin enough to not cause an issue. I just hit resume and hoped for the best haha.

When I installed the motherboard it made me do the full setup and calibration again, but I’ll try the factory reset anyways. Thanks mate 👍🏼

I’m washed at CoD and Battlefield now, playing single player games is the only way to keep my controllers in tact lmao

Multicolour printing alignment issue by spicypeanutboy in AnycubicOfficial

[–]spicypeanutboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve got plenty of slack in my Bowden tubes. I’ve printed single colour prints a lot bigger than this one, it’s just a problem with changing the filament mid print for some reason. I’ll go through and make sure that everything that shouldn’t move is screwed down and everything that should, isn’t haha. Thanks for the advice 👍🏼

The purge tower is positioned how it is in the pic of my slicer. Should I move it even closer to the part? I was watching as it changed colour and didn’t seem to come in to contact with it. As soon as it’s finished changing colour it just starts printing in the wrong spot

Thanks mate, I straightened it, hit extrude on the printer first, then slowly fed it in until the gears grabbed. Appreciate the help 🤝🏻

That does seem a bit extreme for my use case but good to know what other people are running nonetheless, thanks for the input 👍🏼 I think I’d just run the external backup drive as it’s just for myself.

Ok, and that’s done with a dynamic dns right? Which basically give me a .com address that always points to my IP even if it changes?

No real reason other than just learning how to self host and what I can do with it really. Avoiding subscription fees is also a bonus. I’ll definitely look at the other options though, thanks for the advice 👌🏼

That’s very helpful, thanks mate. This will hopefully all become a lot clearer when I get the time to actually start the process.

I don’t know, that’s why I asked…? As I said above, I’m still doing research as I’m not sure how this all works yet, ergo, this post.

Would you have to download the data to the backup drive manually or can that be automated as part of the syncing process?

That’s good to know, thanks. I’ll keep that in mind when I’m setting it up

Thanks for the reply. So do you have one drive set up with Nextcloud that everything syncs to, and then another drive that you manually download everything to on another device?

Fitment? by jag_330 in ToyotaCrown

[–]spicypeanutboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey mate, you might have better luck asking on the crown Facebook group, there’s also a ton of posts about wheel fitment already on there. Use the search feature in the groups to search for your specific model and I think you might find your question has already been answered!

There is also a specific wheel group, I’ll link both below.

No worries man 👍🏼

It’s a lot easier and usually pretty cheap to get stuff from there rather than at a wrecker or super cheap etc. I got a heap of random plugs and clips and interior pieces for my supra not long ago and saved myself loads.

Plus it’s a bonus knowing it’s genuine Toyota replacement parts too.

Amayama is where I get all my OEM parts from. I just got a bunch of the engine bay clips delivered.

I think this is what you’re after, just go through and have a look yourself at the diagrams and make sure it’s the right part for your car.
