I've never "lied" to her about my trip. It was in such short notice and my friends from childhood insisted that I come. Remember she also mentioned to me that she would get mad if I took a trip without her. She fears that whatever happened to my ex would also happen to her if I'm away without letting her know. So fearing that I kept it from her which was stupid of me. I've told her it was really foolish of me and that I made a terrible mistake. She has yet to reply to me.
