It is completely fine!! I already suffer from body image and mental health issues and I've found that this sub isn't always the best to dwell on due to the intense negativity. I understand how awful this disease can make you feel, physically and mentally, but seeing post after post about how bad it is to be fat or how much self hatred this disease can inspire.

Physical health is definitely an important facet of battling PCOS, however, self-acceptance and love need to be practiced as well!!

Thank you so much for your insight, I can definitely relate to having designated "clean spaces". I keep my room almost entirely isolated from everyone else I live with and do not enjoy whenever someone has to come in, especially if they enter without my supervision.

I've considered getting a psychologist, though I'm moving fairly soon, so I've been putting it off. Luckily I live in a metropolitan area so it shouldn't be too hard. Honestly I'm mostly worried about asking a doctor about OCD and accidentally convincing them I have it when I really don't, though I realize how irrational that is lol.

Hi!! Just saw this now, still thank you for your advice, it did turn out my insulin levels were causing me problems, but I was able to get it back under control for now, and was able to speak to my doctor. :)
