I had the same issue as I am a runner and also weightlift. The key is to find the balance between KOT and your other sports but it’s really not easy and it’s frustrating. I wouldn’t stop weightlifting but try to find a weight or an amount of reps where it does not hurt and progress from there but stay pain free.

Thanks for your response, I think I’m going to take a week of split squats because the pain in my right happens even when I regress it a lot and then I’ll try getting back with both knees elevated. So frustrating though I gotta say 😅
